The Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission (TTSEC) is hosting a Public Consultation in conjunction with the Ministry of Finance on proposed revisions to the Securities Industry Act.

The Public Consultation takes place on Friday 9 May, 2008 at Rovanel’s, Bon Accord, Tobago, from 9 a.m. to noon.

The proposed legislative revisions are intended to strengthen the regulatory framework for the securities industry by addressing key issues like disclosure, transparency, investor protection and enforcement. The draft bill may be viewed at www.ttsec.org.tt.
