The Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission has published guidelines for Listing of Companies with Constrained Share Ownership provisions on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange issued pursuant to Section 6 (b) of the Securities Industry Act 1995.

The Trinidad &Tobago Securities &Exchange Commission reminds companies listed on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange, that in accordance with the Securities Industry Act, 1995, they are required to file a copy of their comparative financial statements with the Commission within 90days of their financial year-end.

The Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission has prepared Take-over By-laws to regulate attempts by one entity (the offeror) to acquire control over an offeree company (the target). Although these By-laws have not yet been enacted into law, they represent best practice. The Commission therefore expects that all parties involved in take-over bids will comply with the requirements of the proposed Take-over By-laws.
The Trinidad &Tobago Securities &Exchange Commission has published a set of Prospectus Guidelines for the information of the public. These guidelines provide details of the information that should be included in prospectuses to be filed with the Commission in registering securities to be issued to the public.
