The United Stated Securities and Exchange Commission (USSEC) and the Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission of Trinidad and Tobago (SEC) are jointly hosting a workshop for local and regional regulators from March 12th – 14th, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad located at Wrightson Road Port of Spain.

The workshop is designed to allow no more than two attendees from each participating institution to discuss a number of areas of immediate and widespread concern in the Latin American and Caribbean Central Markets. The Conference is targeting securities regulators as well as regulators of other segments of the financial sector and officials of Ministries of Finance as well as of the Offices of the Attorneys General and Departments of Public Prosecution.

The workshop sessions will run from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm daily.
